We are so excited to announce RoboProm™ 2024! Presale is currently sold out. There will be a very limited amount of tickets being sold on site. All tickets are non-refundable.

There will be an extremely limited amount of tickets being sold on site. All tickets are first come, first serve. No ticket reservations.

There are no other online ticket sales available. The only verifiable tickets are sold by Team 399 in person.

Presale Ticket Pickup

When: Wednesday April 17th, 1pm - 5pm, Thursday 10am - 3pm

Where: George R Brown Convention Center Lobby (Look for signs!)

Mentor tickets can be picked up along with purchased tickets. If you cannot pick up your tickets during these times, you can pick them up at the Hyatt Regency starting at 6pm.

For the first year ever, we are selling RoboProm™ T-shirts! This is the perfect way to commemorate and remember your fun time at RoboProm! Shirts will be presale for $10 until Monday April 15th, at 11:59pm. All presale shirts are defaulted to be picked up at Champs. If you cannot pick up your shirt and need it shipped, please email team399@gmail.com. Shirts will continue being sold on site at the George R Brown Convention Center Wednesday April 17th and Thursday April 18th during ticket pick up hours and at Hyatt Regency during the event for $15.

What is RoboProm™?

For the 17th year, Team 399 is hosting RoboProm™ at Champs! RoboProm™ originally started as a small party for students that missed their school prom to come to champs. Over the years, it has evolved to include thousands of students to have fun and let loose after a season of hard work.

RoboProm™ Scholarships

We are happy to once again be offering two RoboProm™ scholarships, $250 each, sponsored by AndyMark. These scholarships are open to anyone who attends RoboProm™ this year, to help them pursue their STEAM education.

To enter to win one of these scholarships, write a short essay or make a video answering the following questions:

  • What is your current role on your team?

  • What do you feel is your biggest personal accomplishment on your team?

  • How has being on a FIRST team made a positive impact on your life?

Email your essay or video to roboprom399@gmail.com to be considered. Please include your name and team number in your email submission. Winners will be announced during RoboProm™.

RoboProm™ Court

Interested in being the RoboProm™ King, Queen, or Royal? Anyone attending RoboProm™ this year can participate. Make a campaign video about who you are and why you want to be a part of RoboProm™ Court. Talk about your experience with FIRST and show your personality! Post this video on Instagram with #RoboPromCourt24. The deadline the post your video is April 17th, 2024. Voting will open up to all RoboProm™ attendees the day of the event. Winners will be announced and crowned during RoboProm™. We can’t wait to watch all of your submission videos!

  • If you run into this issue, please continue by selecting the “Start Again” button on the page. That should take you to the store homepage, where you and select “Houston RoboProm 2024”. From there, you can buy your tickts!

  • April 18th, 2024 from 8pm - 11pm at the Hyatt Regency.

  • All FTC and FRC students attending FIRST Championships are welcome to attend.

  • RoboProm™ tickets sell out every year and presale is the only way to guarantee your ticket. There are a very limited number of tickets being sold in person, so many people who wait until then may not get their tickets. Additionally, the first 500 presale tickets come with a RoboProm™ bag and goodies!

  • We offer 1 free mentor ticket per every 10 students from their team. Mentor tickets do not need to be reserved ahead of time. They can be picked up at the same place and time as the student tickets at the George R Brown Convention Center.

  • Unfortunately, all RoboProm ticket sales are final.

  • Email us at team399@gmail.com with any issues with purchasing. We will do everything we can to make sure your team is part of the RoboProm fun!

  • We very strongly encourage online presale, but we do sell a very limited amount in person at Champs. We accept cash, card, or check. Cash and check are preferred because they are quicker to process.

  • Yes! There will be light snacks and refreshments provided. However, this is not a full meal so we recommend you make other arrangements for dinner.

  • No! We know that bringing formal wear to Champs is not always an option, so there is no official dress code. Many pope choose to dress up, which we love, but RoboProm is just as fun whether you are dressed casually, formally, or in team gear.

  • We provide free mentor ticket(s) for attending teams. We recommend one mentor per 10 students.

  • We will have a pickup table set up at Champs (the George R. Brown Convention Center) April 17th and 18th. Both student and mentor tickets will be available for pickup. We will only release tickets to the pickup person listed on the order form.

  • Bring an ID that matches the person named as the designated pickup person. Additionally, it is helpful to have a printout or screenshot of your receipt. For payment, we accept cash, card, or check. Cash and check are preferred as they are quicker to process.

  • The Hyatt Regency Houston is walkable from most locations in downtown Houston.
