We are so excited to announce RoboProm™ 2025! Presale tickets are currently on sale so be sure to buy them before they’re sold out! There will be a very limited amount of tickets being sold on site.

Mentor tickets can be picked up along with purchased tickets. If you cannot pick up your tickets during these times, you can pick them up at Marriott Marquis Houston at 6pm.

This year we are selling a RoboProm™ swag package. The package will include a RoboProm T-Shirt along with a drawstring bag. This is the perfect way to commemorate and remember your fun time at RoboProm! The package will be on presale for $12 starting March 21st,12:00 pm PST. All presale packages are defaulted to be picked up at Champs. If you cannot pick up your package and need it shipped, please email roboprom399@gmail.com. Packages will continue being sold on site at the George R Brown Convention Center Wednesday April 16th and Thursday April 17th during ticket pick up hours and at Marriott Marquis Houston during the event for $20.

What is RoboProm™?

For the 18th year, Team 399 is hosting RoboProm™ at Champs! RoboProm™ originally started as a small party for students that missed their school prom to come to champs. Over the years, it has evolved to include thousands of students to have fun and let loose after a season of hard work.

Interested in being the RoboProm™ King, Queen, or Royal? Anyone attending RoboProm™ this year can participate. Make a campaign video about who you are and why you want to be a part of RoboProm™ Court. Talk about your experience with FIRST and show your personality! Post this video on Instagram with #RoboPromCourt25. The deadline to post your video is April 17th, 2025. Voting will open up to all RoboProm™ attendees the day of the event. Winners will be announced and crowned during RoboProm™. We can’t wait to watch all of your submission videos!

RoboProm™ tickets sell out every year and presale is the only way to guarantee your ticket. There are a very limited number of tickets being sold in person, so many people who wait until then may not get their tickets. Additionally, the first 500 presale tickets come with a RoboProm™ bag and goodies!
We offer 1 free mentor ticket per every 10 students from their team. Mentor tickets do not need to be reserved ahead of time. They can be picked up at the same place and time as the student tickets at the George R Brown Convention Center.
Unfortunately, all RoboProm ticket sales are final.

We very strongly encourage online presale, but we do sell a very limited amount in person at Champs. We accept cash, card, or check. Cash and check are preferred because they are quicker to process.
Yes! There will be light snacks and refreshments provided. However, this is not a full meal so we recommend you make other arrangements for dinner.
No! We know that bringing formal wear to Champs is not always an option, so there is no official dress code. Many pope choose to dress up, which we love, but RoboProm is just as fun whether you are dressed casually, formally, or in team gear.
We provide free mentor ticket(s) for attending teams. We recommend one mentor per 10 students.
We will have a pickup table set up at Champs (the George R. Brown Convention Center) April 17th and 18th. Both student and mentor tickets will be available for pickup. We will only release tickets to the pickup person listed on the order form.
Bring an ID that matches the person named as the designated pickup person. Additionally, it is helpful to have a printout or screenshot of your receipt. For payment, we accept cash, card, or check. Cash and check are preferred as they are quicker to process.
Marriott Marquis Houston is walkable from most locations in downtown Houston.
