What is Team 399?
Team 399: Eagle Robotics is a class and club at Lancaster High School. We strive to cultivate a culture of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math, or STEAM, within our team and our community. Students explore their interests and take part in making their community a better place, allowing them to develop both their soft skills like leadership and teamwork, and hard skills like engineering, design, and programming. We spend our time building and competing with FRC robots as well as building initiatives to benefit our community.
What is FIRST?
FIRST, For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a generation of inclusive leaders and innovators. They have three robotics programs: FIRST Lego League (FLL), FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), and FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC).
